Eastham garners first-ever All-American honors for women's indoor track & field

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, March 14, 2004 - Junior Jamie Eastham finished eighth in the shot put at the 2004 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National Championships hosted by UW-Whitewater to earn All-American honors and lead the Muskingum College women's squad to a 59th place finish on Saturday.

Eastham logged a throw of 43-05.25 in the preliminary round to advance to the finals. In the finals, Eastham recorded a toss of 43-11.25 to place eighth at the national championships.

Eastham is the first All-American in Muskingum women's indoor track & field history. The top eight competitors in each final event earn All-American honors.
