Thornton named OAC Outdoor Track & Field Runner of the Week

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, April 19, 2007 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum College junior sprinter Dean Thornton was named OAC Track & Field Runner of the Week.

Thornton garnered the accolades after winning the 100-meter dash (10.87) at the Marietta Dual last week. On the season, Thornton finished second (11.09) in the 100-meter dash at the Muskingum Invitational, third (11.12) at the OAC Quad and first (10.97) at the Marv Frye Invitational.
