Muskie men ranked tenth in Great Lakes Region

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, February 24, 2011 - The Muskingum University men's indoor track & field team was ranked tenth in the Great Lakes Region in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association rankings.

The Muskies fell one spot from last week, but remain in the upper tier of the region after a strong showing at the Marietta College Invitational. Muskingum finished second in the 11-team field, and boasted several individual champions.

Muskingum senior Demetrius Bailey, who won the triple jump at Marietta, is currently ranked 19th in NCAA Division III. Bailey's ranking is based on his season-best mark of 46-10.75.
