Heagen named Academic All-OAC
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, May 25, 2011 -
The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum University junior outfielder Kristyn Heagen was named Academic All-OAC.
Heagen, a education major with a 3.92 grade-point-average, led Muskingum with 43 hits, 27 RBIs, five home runs, 71 total bases and one triple. She ranked second in batting average (.364), doubles (11), slugging percentage (.602) and runs scored (22).
Earlier this year, Heagen was named All-OAC Honorable Mention and Capital One Academic All-District IV Second Team.
