Coach Caudill named President of the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, January 17, 2011 - Muskingum University head women's soccer coach Mary Beth Caudill was named president of the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA) at the annual National Soccer Coaches Association of America Convention in Baltimore, Maryland.

Caudill, who served on the executive committee of the OCSA as vice president for the past two years, will now lead the oldest and one of the most prestigious college soccer associations in the nation. The OCSA represents all National Collegiate Athletic Association divisions (NCAA), all National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics divisions (NAIA) and all National Junior College Athletic Association divisions (NJCAA) in Ohio.

Throughout the year, the OCSA recognizes the top collegiate soccer talent in the state with All-Ohio and Academic All-Ohio honors. Furthermore, the organization honors college coaches across all divisions with Coach of the Year accolades, plays an important role in the Ohio Soccer Hall of Fame nomination and induction process and organizes and manages the Ohio College Senior All-Star game.

Caudill, the all-time winningest soccer coach in Muskingum history, played at NCAA Division I Wright State University where she served as captain and was a GTE Academic All-American and team Most Valuable Player. Professionally, Caudill played five seasons in the W-League with the Cincinnati Leopards, Cleveland Eclipse and Cincinnati LadyHawks.
