Muskingum finishes 15th at Wittenberg Invitational
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, October 2 - The Muskingum University men's golf team shot a two-day total of 659 (327-332) to finish
15th in the 19-team field at the Wittenberg University Fall Invitational on Saturday-Sunday.
Senior Joel Ardner (78-88) and freshman Jay Dean (82-84) led the Muskies with a 166 to finish tied for 74th in the 100-golfer field. Senior Jourdon Leymon (82-85), freshman Nathan Duff (86-81) and senior Joey Shroyer (85-82) all fired a 167 to finish tied for 78th.
Wittenberg University shot a 572 (290-282) to win the invitational and Wittenberg's Craig Osterbrock claimed medalist honors with a 139 (71-68).
The tournament concluded the Muskies fall schedule, who will return to the links during their annual spring trip March 5-9.
