NEW CONCORD, OHIO, September 26, 2011 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum senior linebacker Ethan Wetzel was named OAC Football Defensive Player of the Week.

Wetzel led the Muskingum defense with 11 tackles and one sack for nine yards to help lead the Muskies to a 27-7 upset against ninth-ranked Ohio Northern University last Saturday. Wetzel ranks ninth in the league averaging nine hits per game.
