Junker named to D3football.com and Football Gazette National Teams of the Week

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, October 31, 2006 - Muskingum College senior linebacker Jack Junker garnered national accolades following his career-high 22 tackle performance against Otterbein College by being named to the D3football.com and Football Gazette National Team of the Week.

Junker put on an amazing defensive display for the crowd at Memorial Stadium against Otterbein College. The 6-foot-1, 220-pound Parma Heights native also recorded 2.5 tackles for loss, forced one fumble, recovered one fumble and notched an assisted sack. For the year, Junker has a team-high 69 stops.

Junker was previously named Ohio Athletic Conference Football Defensive Player of the Week.
