Youel garners All-Region honors

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, April 14, 2009 - Muskingum College junior Tiffany Youel was recently named First Team All-Great Lakes Region by D3hoops.com to finish a memorable senior season.

Youel has also been recognized for her play on the court this season by being named First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference. Her impressive play from the guard position saw her finish second in the league in scoring (19.0 ppg), first in steals per game (2.78), first in three-point field goals made (66), fourth in assist/turnover ratio and fourth in assists.

Youel tied the school record for points in a game with her 37-point performance against Denison University. She ended her Muskie tenure ranked ninth all-time with 1,186 career points.
