McKenzie named to the D3hoops.com National Team of the Week
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, December 18, 2008 -
D3hoops.com has announced that Muskingum College senior post Jessica McKenzie has been named to the D3hoops.com National Women's Basketball Team of the Week.
McKenzie averaged 21 points and 13 rebounds per game en route to leading the Muskies to a 2-0 record last week in the rugged Ohio Athletic Conference. She shot .653 (17-of-26) from the field and logged seven assists, six steals and one block throughout the the pair of games. Furthermore, McKenzie eclipsed 1,000 career points and recorded a career-high 19 rebounds against John Carroll University.
She was also honored for her stellar play earlier this week being named the OAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
