McKenzie named OAC Player of the Week for second straight week
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, December 22, 2008 - For the second consecutive week and for the seventh time in her illustrious Muskingum College career, senior post Jessica McKenzie was honored as the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
McKenzie averaged 24.5 points and 18 rebounds per game last week. She scored a career-high 37 points and grabbed a career-high 22 rebounds against Manhattanville College. Her 37 points tied the Muskie school record for points in a game and her 22 rebounds were one short of the school mark. On the week, she tallied 49 points, 36 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and one steal.
