Pittis named OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, January 16, 2006 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum College senior forward Cole Pittis has been named OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

Pittis averaged a double-double with 18.0 points and 11.5 rebounds in a pair of conference wins last week. Pittis tallied 36 points and 23 rebounds, dished out seven assists, had four steals and a blocked shot. The Muskies 6-2 start in OAC play is its best since the 1991-92 season.

Pittis has tallied four double-doubles this season and has scored in double-digits in 13 straight games.
