Clinedinst selected to play for the AIST basketball squad
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, October 11, 2011 -
Muskingum University All-Ohio Athletic Conference senior forward Kyle Clinedinst will be traveling to Italy next summer to play for the American International Sports Teams. Clinedinst's Italy tour, which will feature 4-5 games in a 10-day period, will run May 25th through June 3rd.
Last season, Clinedinst ranked in the top 10 in the OAC with his team-best 14.7 points and nine rebounds per game average. He shot .443 from the field with 45 steals, 39 assists and 15 blocked shots. Clinedinst was honored for his play with OAC Player of the Week accolades.
The American International Sports Teams was founded in 2002. They consist of nine different teams from nine different sports. Teams will be made up of NCAA Division I, II, III, Jr. College, and NAIA student-athletes. The tour in Italy will travel to Rome, Florence, San Marino, Remini Beach and Como.
