Hardcastle named OAC Hitter of the Week

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, April 18, 2011 - Muskingum University senior Tyler Hardcastle was honored for his stellar week of play by being named the Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week.

Hardcastle, who hit .523 (11-of-21) for the week, helped lead the Muskies to a 4-1 record on the diamond. He scored nine runs, had seven RBIs, five doubles and one home run. Furthermore, he extended his season and team-best hitting streak to 12 games.
