Graduate Programs
Most of our accounting students do not attend graduate school. The students choosing the 150 credit hour Accounting-Public option here at Muskingum are able to sit for the CPA exam without having a graduate degree, but here are a few examples of schools former students have attended:

Student Stories
Precious Ugwumba ('06) completed Muskingum’s 150-hour Accounting-Public major in 3 ½ years. While at Muskingum, she interned at Federal-Mogul and Mettallurg Vanadium. She is currently working as a staff accountant at Dale Saylor and Associates, a CPA firm in Dublin, Ohio.
Philita Wentworth ('06) interned in the Zanesville office of Norman, Jones, Enlow & Company, a Columbus, Ohio CPA firm. She is currently employed as a staff accountant with Norman, Jones, Enlow & Company.
Paula Williams ('06) majored in Accounting-Public and interned in the Cambridge, Ohio office of Rea and Associates, a local CPA firm. After graduation, she accepted a position as staff accountant with Rea and Associates.
Stephanie Shanklin ('05) graduated with an Accounting-Public major and is a Corporate Financial Accountant with McDonald’s Corporation.
Kurtis Kontur ('05) graduated with degrees in Computer Science and Accounting-Public. He is currently an internal control/information systems auditor with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Columbus, Ohio.
