    Interested in Clinical Laboratory Science?

    Southwest General Health Center, School of Medical Technology is currently accepting applications for students interested in clinical laboratory science for the class starting July 2009. If you are a Junior or Senior science major who may be interested, this is a 12 month NAACLS accredited program in the Cleveland area where completion allows eligibility for national certification examination.  Affiliation agreements can be arranged for 3 + 1 students using this program towards their B.S.

    Candidates should be strong in the sciences having a GPA of 2.75 or higher and will be completing the program prerequisites.

       16 semester hours of Biology including:
           Genetics or Molecular Biology
           Anatomy and Physiology (1 semester  minimum)

       16 semester hours of Chemistry including:
           Organic and/or Biochemistry

       1 course Statistics

    The application deadline is 12/1/08.

    WVSOM Fall Open House

    The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine is hosting its Fall Open House on Saturday, November 15 from 8:30 to 3:00 p.m. on the WVSoM Campus in Lewisburg, West Virginia. The open house is designed to provide individuals who are interested in becoming a physician with information on admission requirements, financial aid, and osteopathic medicine.
