Guernsey County Sportsmen for Conservation
College Scholarship

Internships and Scholarships available

The Guernsey County Sportsmen for Conservation has made applications available for college scholarships. Residents or graduates of Cambridge, Rolling Hills, East Guernsey, East Muskingum, Newcomerstown, and Ridgewood school districts, and immediate family of club members, who are at least second year college students (credits toward major) in the field of forestry, natural resources, conservation, wildlife, and related courses of study are eligible.

Sportsmen for Conservation (S.F.C.) will pay the scholarship money directly to the school in the student's name. Two- and four-year programs are acceptable. Application deadline is March 15th, 2010.

Funding for these scholarships is generated from the $1.00 writing fees paid for by hunters, fisherman, and trappers purchasing their licenses in Guernsey County.

Applications are available at the Science Office (SC 318) in the Boyd Science Center.
