Scholastic Awards

Outstanding student performances are honored annually by the granting of several scholarships and awards sponsored by various friends of the department. The awards include:

• The Alice and Si Vellenga Award
• The E.R. "Rudy" Gerlach Chemistry Award
• Award in Analytical Chemistry
• The Polyed Award for Performance in Organic Chemistry
• The CRC Outstanding Achievement in Freshman Chemistry Award
• The Health Professions Award
