$55 Million Campaign Off to A Record Start
October 22, 2004, is the date Muskingum College announced the most important and pivotal development initiative in its 168 years. With a goal of $55,000,000, The Long Magenta Line
The Campaign for Muskingum College, is the largest fund-raising effort ever for this historic and vibrant school.
Already, alumni and friends have demonstrated their loyalty and commitment with gifts totaling a record $51,000,000more than the College has ever before raised at one time. Fifty-one million dollars is a remarkable response, says Trustee Robert Patin 64, who is chairing the Campaign steering committee.
This generous giving shows how deeply donors value our College and believe in its future. Their commitment gives us confidence in the success of this Campaign, and what it will do for Muskingums students.
According to President Anne Steele, The Campaign for Muskingum College is a strategic initiative, created to help us ensure that Muskingums current excellence not only continues but also expands. The goal is for this College to have even more impact on individual students and on the quality of life in our region and our nation.
