Smith named OAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, October 15, 2012 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum University senior
Tyler Smith was named the OAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Smith led the Muskies to a sixth place finish in the 34-team field at the Wilmington College Fall 8K Classic on October 12. The Muskies were the second highest finishing NCAA Division III school at the
meet. Smith paved the way to the outstanding team finish with a personal-best time of 26:06 to place 34th in the 380-runner field.
The Muskingum will compete next at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships held at Wilmington on Saturday, October 27th.
