Halko named OAC Wrestler of the Week
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, January 11, 2011 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum University senior wrestling standout Chip Halko has been named OAC Wrestler of the Week.
Halko posted a 2-0 mark a the Washington & Jefferson College Quad this past weekend to help lead the Muskies to a 2-1 record at the event. Halko recorded a fall at the 4:56 mark against Gettyburg College's Matt Spano to aid the Muskies in their 24-17 win. Halko's second win of the day came via a forfeit against the host Presidents.
On the year, Halko is 4-0 overall and was previously honored with the OAC Scholar-Athlete of the Month award for January.
