Ford named OAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, January 16, 2012 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum University sophomore Tanisha Ford has been named OAC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
Ford led the Muskies at the Marietta College Open Meet on Saturday with a school record toss of 47.1 feet in the weight throw en route to finishing first in the event. The throw beat the previous record set by Ford in December by almost two feet.
Ford also won the shot put competition with a heave of 37.82 feet.
