Burns named OAC Track Athlete of the Week
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, March 22, 2011 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum University freshman sprinter Shawn Burns has been named OAC Track Athlete of the Week.
Burns, who helped lead the Muskies to a perfect 4-0 record at the Muskingum Duals last weekend, finished first in both the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash with times of 11.22 and 22.86, respectively.
The Muskies return to action Saturday, March 26 when they host the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational in McConagha Stadium.
