Mattin named OAC Pitcher of the Week

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, March 13, 2006 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum College freshman Amy Mattin has been named OAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Mattin recorded three wins and a pair of saves to help lead the fourth-ranked Muskies to a 10-2 record over spring break. In 31 innings of work, Mattin allowed 16 hits, five earned runs and notched 24 strikeouts. She tossed a complete game one-hitter and a complete game three-hitter.
