Echelberger named OAC Softball Hitter of the Week
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, April 28, 2008 - Muskingum College senior shortstop Jamie Echelberger was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Softball Hitter of the Week after recording a .588 average and a 1.059 slugging percentage.
Echelberger's success at the plate helped lead the 13th-ranked Muskies to their 11th straight Ohio Athletic Conference regular season title. The Ashland, Ohio, native recorded 10 hits in 17 at-bats, scored six runs, and slugged two doubles and two home runs en route to notching eight RBI's.
