Hess, Price and Patterson named All-OAC

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, May 5, 2012 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum University freshman first baseman Jaclynn Hess and senior designated player Ashley Price were named Second Team All-OAC and that junior shortstop Apryl Patterson was named Honorable Mention All-OAC. Hess, who honored as the Muskingum William F. Lange Outstanding Freshmen Female Athlete, hit .389 with 42 hits, 19 runs, seven doubles, one home run and registered a .431 on-base percentage.

Price batted .376 with 32 hits, 23 RBIs, 10 runs, seven doubles, one triple and one home run. She recorded a .419 on-base percentage.

Patterson led Muskingum with a .420 batting average and posted team-highs with 55 hits and 32 runs. She belted 10 doubles, three home runs and two triples and notched a .446 on-base percentage.
