Ward and Linn named Academic All-OAC

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, November 22, 2011 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum University senior midfielder Christine Ward has been named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference and that sophomore defender Sarah Linn has been named Academic All-OAC Honorable Mention.

Ward, a two-year captain and four-year letterwinner, is a neuroscience major. She started in 17 games this season and was tied for the team-lead with three assists. Ward mustered 21 shots and ended the year with three points.

Linn, a two-year letterwinner, is a pre-veterinary medicine major. She helped anchor the Muskie backline and started in all 19 matches this season. Linn's defensive efforts helped the Muskies notch three shutouts on the year.
