Ardman, Snively and Davis named All-Ohio
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, January 15, 2013 - Muskingum University junior offensive lineman Denny Ardman, senior punter Danny Snively and senior defensive back Andrew Davis were named to the 2012 OhioCollegeFootball.com All-Ohio Teams.
Ardman, who helped anchor the Muskie offensive line, was named Second Team All-Ohio. Ardman's play helped the Muskies average 130.3 yards rushing per game and average 285.2 yards of total offense per game. Ardman was honored earlier with First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference accolades.
Snively was named Second Team All-Ohio after leading the OAC with a career-best 39.6 yards punting average, which also ranked 22nd in the nation. He booted 18 punts inside the 20 and had a long punt of 66 yards. Snively was a First Team All-OAC honoree.
Davis, who led the OAC in passes defended (14) and ranked third in the league with four interceptions, including two he returned for touchdowns, was named Third Team All-Ohio. On the season, Davis notched 17 tackles and forced one fumble. He also led the conference in kick returns with a 21.8 yards per kick return average. His 601 kickoff return yards ranks third all-time at Muskingum for a season and his 1,125 career kickoff return yards ranks eighth all-time at Muskingum.
