Fuller, Murray and Emmert garner All-OAC honors
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, November 25, 2008 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum College senior running back Caleb Fuller has been named Second Team All-OAC, while senior wide receiver Jack Murray and junior offensive lineman Steve Emmert both received All-OAC Honorable Mention.
Fuller ended the season ranked second in the OAC in all-purpose yards, third in scoring and third in kick return average. He tallied 139.1 all-purpose yards per outing and concluded his final year with 606 rushing yards, 285 receiving yards and 500 kick return yards. Fuller notched 15 touchdowns and averaged 9.0 points per contest. He ended his Muskie tenure ranked sixth all-time in kickoff return yards with 1,186.
Murray recorded a career-high 34 receptions for 407 yards and two touchdowns. He ranked fifth in the OAC in kick return average (15.4) and concluded his career ranked eighth in career receiving yards with 1,188 and ranked ninth in kick return yards with 849. This marks the second time Murray has been honored with All-OAC accolades (2008, 2006).
Emmert anchored the Muskies offensive line which paved the way for the spread-option offense to average 20.5 points and 304.7 yards per game.
Muskingum, under the direction of Head Coach Al Logan, ended the season with a 3-7 overall record, which included two wins in the nationally-ranked OAC.
