Nelson named OAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, November 26, 2012 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum University senior Hannah Nelson has been named the OAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Nelson, who averaged 21.5 points and eight rebounds per game last week, helped lead the Muskies to a 2-0 record at the Marietta College Turkey Shootout Tournament. Nelson shot .563 (18-of-32) from the field and .923 (12-of-13) from the free throw line en route to being named to the all-tournament team.
On the year, Nelson ranks fourth in the league in scoring (16.3 ppg) and third in rebounds (8.0 rpg).
