VanMeter named OAC Pitcher of the Week for second straight week
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, May 4, 2009 - For the second consecutive week, the Ohio Athletic Conference has honored Muskingum College junior pitcher Nathan VanMeter as the OAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
VanMeter fired a complete game, three-hitter with a career-high 13 strikeouts to led the Muskies to a 4-0 win at Capital University. His performance lowered his team-best ERA to 1.30.
Over VanMeter's last four outings, he has tossed 29 innings, allowed 11 hits, no earned runs and notched 35 strikeouts.
