Ringhiser, Hesler, Rockwell, Prati and McKenzie named All-OAC
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, May 14, 2005 -
The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum College senior third baseman Scott Ringhiser, junior outfielder Adam Hesler and sophomore shortstop Bill Rockwell have been named first team All-OAC, while senior first baseman Nathan Prati and graduate student pitcher Greg McKenzie were named second team All-OAC.
Ringhiser batted .366 with 52 RBIs, 38 runs, 12 doubles and eight home runs, Hesler batted .403 with 38 RBIs, 35 runs, 15 doubles and 10 home runs and Rockwell hit .311 with 23 RBIs and 17 sacrifices. Prati batted .328 with 36 RBIs and five home runs, while McKenzie posted a 7-3 record with five complete games, 46 strikeouts and a 3.86 ERA.
Muskingum ended the year with a 22-18 overall record and a fifth place finish in the OAC.
