Spadaro, Free and Garrett named All-OAC
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, May 14, 2012 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has named Muskingum University senior pitcher Todd Spadaro Second Team All-OAC and junior pitcher Matt Free and junior outfielder Darren Garrett Honorable Mention All-OAC.

Spadaro led the Muskie pitching staff with a team-best 2.53 ERA and a team-high five wins. He fired four complete games and tossed 64 innings with 38 strikeouts. Spadaro held hitters to a .240 batting average. He was honored earlier in the season with OAC Pitcher of the Week accolades.
Free posted a 3.03 ERA with four wins and one complete game. He notched a team-best 42 strikeouts in 62.1 innings of work and held batters to a .265 batting average. One of Free's highlights of the season came against Capital University when he had a perfect game through 7.2 innings.
Garrett batted .340 with a team-best 49 hits and 21 RBIs. He led the squad with nine doubles, two triples and a .461 on-base percentage. Garrett belted one home run, registered nine stolen bases and scored 28 runs.
