Jewerl Maxwell, '03

Jewerl Maxwell, ’03, came to Muskingum from Butler, Pennsylvania. He graduated with a triple major in Political Science, History and Public Affairs.

For the past five years, Maxwell has been teaching Political Science at Cedarville University. he also fills the role of Associate Dean of the Center for Lifelong Learning at Cedarville. Maxwell chose a career as a university professor because, “I desired to teach at the college level; I appreciated my professors at Muskingum and hoped to have the same impact on students.”

The genuine care that Muskingum faculty members have for their students is one of the things about his Muskingum education that Maxwell is most thankful for.
