Connor Hann, '16

Connor Hann, '16Connor Hann, a junior from Chagrin Falls, Ohio, is an environmental science major who chose Muskingum because “I got the feeling that I could grow as a person on my own terms with help all along the way, which I was right about!”

Connor, who works as a Resident Assistant and a tour guide, also volunteers with Circle K International and the M.I.N.D. mentoring program. He is also a Student Senate representative and a member of Phio Mu Alpha Sinfonia and the Equality Alliance.

Connor spent a summer working as a Muskie Fellow with Dr. Danny Ingold of the Biology Department. He explains his internship: “Our objectives were to do a comparison between two regions at the Wilds of grassland bird populations along with vegetation. It was great field work experience and we presented at a professional avian conference [also].”

Connor appreciates the faculty members at Muskingum who, in his words, “strive for our success and push us to achieve more than what we thought we could. It has affected me in and outside of the classroom and has opened some many opportunities I would not have taken otherwise!”
