Faculty
Lounge
Welcome to the Faculty Lounge! The Faculty Lounge
is a virtual space for you where various materials
and courses are provided for technology integration.
During the semester, this space will be updated
frequently and will have new contents added. So
check this site regularly to find new information.

The Faculty Lounge is composed of the following
rooms:
- Café. This
room contains links to chat rooms and forums.
The chat allows synchronous communication on
the Internet. That means participants of a
chat should be online at the same time. However,
the forum allows asynchronous communication.
So the participants do not have to be online
at the same time. This room also has links
to some mailing lists.
- Study. It contains
five bookshelves:
- Bookshelf 1 displays links to educational
technology theories and research articles;
- Bookshelf 2 displays links to projects
and innovative designs;
- bookshelf 3 displays links to information
about educational organizations and conferences
- Bookshelf 4 displays links to educational
journals, newsletters, and other publications;
- Bookshelf 5 displays reference tools
such as dictionaries, encyclopedias,
and glossaries sites.
- Workshop. This
room provides Web-based workshops that teach
you how to use various software programs.
- GameZone. This
room has links to educational games and simulations.
This is a place where visitors learn in a
much more casual style and do some brainstorming.
